Least Famous Shakes,  Mouth-Watering Food, & Fancy-est Drive Thru in Bear Lake
How it all Began

1819
Bear Lake was discovered. Originally named "Black Bear Lake" by Donald Mackenzie, an explorer for the North West Fur Company who discovered the lake in 1819, the name was later changed to Bear Lake

1948
The Worlds First Drive thru was invented. Drive-through windows were a method first tested as far back as 1931 by the Texas Pig Stand chain.  In-n-Out Burger claims to have built the first drive-through restaurant in 1948. Harry and Esther Snyder, the chain's founders, built their first restaurant in Baldwin Park, California, with a two-way speaker to enable patrons to order directly from their cars without the intermediation of a carhop.

1925-2012
Since the property was first build in 1925, it's as if fate led to the beginnings of Zipz which were finally born on the historic occasion in the Winter of 2012.  An historic occasion commenced and in celebration of purchasing the property, a sledge hammer was thrown through the old front window.

2014
Zipz officially opens! Over the next two years, construction started and plans were made to give Bear Lake a renewed look at the middle of town.  Instead of sneers and judgement being cast at the old deserted property, people can now look to Zipz as a place of great food, family fun, awesome fast drive thru service, and one of the best atmosphere's to sit, eat and relax in the heart of Garden City.

The Far Out Best Experience Out There

"Vintage boating. Amazing food. Best shakes I've had yet. And been a loyal customer for 3 years now. Cant go wrong with anything you order. Its all amazing!"

Clever decor, friendly staff, good food.

"Zipz takes the small-town, mid-century boating theme to the extreme, with great results. This is a family-friendly burger joint with more than just a clever visual schtick. However you like your burgers and dogs, the serve-yourself condiment center is stocked with dozens of toppings and sauces. Top notch!"

The Best Chicken Tenders I've ever had.

"This place was packed.  Yet they got our food to us in record time and it was great.  Probably the best chicken tenders I have ever had.  Reasonably priced as well."

Dry Tasteless Tater Tots

"Over priced tourest trap, Dry tastless tater tots. Burger tastes burnt. Definatly wont be back."

This Place was a joke.

"Line was so long and they didn’t even offer any healthy options!! Zipz don’t expect me to ever come back even if you’re the only food left on the earth. DISSATISFIED!"

We weren't wowed at all.

Meh. It was a burger. Not a gross one or anything but you could say it was pretty... Burger-ey
